This GreenBuild Building System is already changing the way buildings are constructed, by providing solid walls that are easy to erect, strong, durable, energy efficient, time saving and cost effective.
How it works.
To construct walls, we utilise lightweight and color-coded formwork that can be reused up to 300 times. The formwork is filled with GreenCrete™ in widths of 100mm and 150mm, allowing for pouring heights of up to 3m within a single session.
After pouring, the GreenCrete™ is left to cure overnight. The following day, the specialized formwork is stripped, revealing a flawlessly straight and smooth off-shutter surface.
To complete the finishing touches, a projection plaster machine mechanically sprays a quick and cost-effective plaster coating onto the surface. If desired, colour pigment can be added to the plaster mixture.
After curing of the foundation, the GreenBuild SA 40m2 affordable house takes approximately seven days to build.

3. Formwork
The GreenBuild color-coded formwork system is crafted from durable and lightweight steel, offering excellent longevity and cost-effectiveness.
With a lifespan of up to 300 uses, it is one of the most economical formwork options available. Even if the formwork sustains damage, it can be easily repaired for continued use, or recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
The GreenCrete® can be efficiently poured up to a height of 3m in a single pouring session. The selection of formwork is based on the architect’s design and drawings, allowing for repetitive use in subsequent projects. For instance, erecting the formwork for a 54m2 two-bedroom house typically requires a team of six people and can be completed within six hours. The lightweight concrete pumping process takes approximately one hour.
Consequently, multiple houses can be pumped in a day, assuming an adequate number of formwork panels and a skilled workforce. The versatility of the formwork system allows for customization to suit any home size and design.
Formwork panels are precision-manufactured using high-accuracy machines and can be easily assembled or dismantled using a simple and fast connecting clip that is applied by hand. Each set of shuttering includes two connecting spacer ties that run past the sides of the shutter, eliminating the need for precise alignment. This significantly simplifies the formwork erection process, ensuring efficiency and ease of use.
DETAILS: | |
Sizes: | (w) 600,400,350,300,250 |
Clips: | G1, G2, G3 |
Curing Time: | 12 Hours |
Includes: | Wall Formwork, Bulkheads, Clips |

BUILDING A BRIGHTER FUTURE
IS WHAT DRIVES US.
Why we do what
we do.
Safeguarding our planet is so important for everyone’s future. That’s why we develop revolutionary sustainable systems and products for the building and construction industries.
But at the heart of what we do is the strong belief that every person has the right to a house they can call their home. And that’s why we’re going to be the foundation for generations to come.
